April 2025 Release
The following changes and enhancements have been made in this release of easyFBT 2025 (2025.1.0.5/2025.1.0.6):
Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) Return 2025 and SBR Interactions
The ATO Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) Return 2025 form has been added to this version and can be produced as a paper form for manual lodgement with the ATO as per prior years or when using the Electronic Lodgement (SBR) Interaction Manager to lodge electronically.
Update 2025.1.0.6: Applied a fix to the SBR2 lodgement process to facilitate a known connection to the sending service provider.
Administration Panel (System Manager)
We have added an option to quickly review your current folder and file permissions when accessing your Documents and Program Data storage:
Report Capping (Properties and Settings)
For Public and Non-Profit Hospitals (PNPH), Public Benevolent Institutions (PBI), and Rebatable employers, you now have additional options to determine how the capping is applied in your reporting:
Order of workpapers; then
Order of benefits: Total GUTV (Descending), Total GUTV (Ascending), Import and/or Entry
General changes
The following additional changes and enhancements have been made:
Updated the Workpaper Column help with some additional information
Updated all components and packages used by easyFBT to the latest available versions.
March 2025 Release
The following changes and enhancements have been made in this release of easyFBT 2025 (2025.1.0.3/2025.1.0.4):
Login Authentication
The Login Authentication dialog has been updated to fix the visibility of the e-mail address and password entries. More details about the issue are explained here.
January 2025 Release
The following changes and enhancements have been made in this release of easyFBT 2025 (2025.1.0.2):
State
Added a new state called OS to allow users to identify employees in an overseas employment period.
Data Source Manager
Fixed an issue where removing a data source didn't refresh the Entity list of the newly active data source.
RFBA Employee Letters wizard
Added Category to the list of available columns in the detailed Benefit Table.
September 2024 Release
The following changes and enhancements have been made in this release of easyFBT 2025 (2025.1.0.1):
Properties and Settings
With the transfer of the 12 Week Register, Valuation Election and Fleet Car Election information in the related workpapers in 2024 we have removed the associated panels from the Properties and Settings area.
Rollover
The following changes have been made in the Rollover wizard:
Added the ability to rollover the Elected Entertainment Valuation Method
Transferred the 12 Week Register for both the ITEB and Entertainment workpapers
Added the ability to rollover the Categories workpaper
Added Category removal from the Employee workpaper where the categories are not rolled over.
Reporting
Relabeled Entertainment (All) and ITEB (All) reports for naming consistency.
General changes
As with each FBT year, rates and other values are required to be updated. The following changes have been made for the 2025 FBT year:
Updated the Car Parking public holidays table with the 2024/25 State/Territory gazetted public holidays;
Updated CPI Indexation factors for Housing;
Updated the Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) country codes and rates
Update Declarations for 2025 FBT year
Updated the Workpaper Column help with some additional information
Updated all components and packages used by easyFBT to the latest available versions.
